Niladri Nag

Niladri Nag is the founder of Orion Advisors after having a successful career with 2 of the Big 4 firms in Japan & India. Prior to founding Orion Advisors, Niladri spent 15+ years with Big 4 firms in Japan, advising Japanese companies on expansion strategies, M&A/JV, due diligence, post merger integration, tax & regulatory, business culture, etc., with a very deep expertise on doing business in India . Niladri was an early pioneer and leader in the development of the Japan India investment corridor, combining his deep knowledge of the Indian market with his vast network in Japan and India. Niladri has consistently leveraged his keen understanding of Japan and Japanese business culture to successfully interact and advise Japanese businesses. Niladri has successfully advised companies like NTT Communications, SMFG with their global expansion projects.

Niladri went to school and grew up in Tokyo. He has a strong passion for supporting the growth of Japanese companies in the developing economies of Asia, especially India. His passion is further fueled by his dream to contribute to this growth by acting as a bridge and trusted business advisor for his clients’ India entry plans.

Niladri is a Certified Public Accountant (registered in India) and holds an Economics Degree from Delhi University. He graduated from St. Mary’s International School, Tokyo. He is fluent in English, Japanese, Hindi and Bengali.
